Jeff Sessions met twice last year with Russia’s ambassador, but did not disclose those encounters during his confirmation hearing to become attorney general, the Washington Post reported.
The meetings happened when Sessions was still a senator, the newspaper reported, citing Justice Department officials.
At his confirmation to become attorney general, he was asked about possible communication between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian officials.
