It’s Saint Patrick’s Day, a venerable Irish holiday that has been taken over by folks who think they need an excuse to wear green and get shitfaced. There’s more to this day than finding yourself in the back of a police cruiser covered in green barf and wondering why you’re wearing someone else’s underwear. St. Paddy’s day is steeped in Irish myth and lore.
Some of that myth and lore came to visit Alabama eleven years ago today, and the internet hasn’t been the same since.
